How Work Journal Started
When I was updating my resume and preparing for interviews, I realized the hardest part wasn’t writing about my skills; it was remembering what I’d actually done.
So many meaningful projects, problem-solving moments, and small wins had just disappeared into the day-to-day of work. I knew I’d done great work, but recalling the specifics, like what impact I had and what challenges I solved, felt impossible months or years later.
That’s where the idea for Work Journal began.
I wanted a simple, low-effort way to reflect on what I’d accomplished on a regular schedule. Something that could gently remind me to capture those moments before they fade. And when it came time to update my resume or prep for interviews, I wanted those notes to turn into clear, confident stories of impact.
Work Journal was built to do exactly that. It helps you remember your progress, see your growth, and tell your story one reflection at a time.
Thanks for being here and for giving it a try.
